Our sportfishing charter trip is from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM so we can go out a few extra miles for real fishing. I’m sending prices for all boats departing from Puerto Plata, that’s with the best captain and mates, with round trip transportation up to Cabarete, with drinks, snacks and fishing tackle.

This half day sportfishing tour takes place aboard a 38 foot, twin 275HP, you will fish for Marlin, Dorado, Wahoo, Tuna and Mackerel and will have a good chance of seeing sea turtles, dolphins, huge rays as well as whales (during January and February).

Our boats are equipped with fighting chairs for the larger blues and other game fish plus the latest fish tackle for the chair or stand-up. All tackle is in the 30#-130#. We provide all Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo, and Dorado lures you need. In addition, the boats are equipped with shade and facilities (restrooms). Your crew consists of an experienced native fishing captain and mate to help with rigging, finding, and hooking the fish.

  You can choose from individual daily trips at 95 per persons on our 38 footer or you can go for 1-10 passenger charters in any of or boats. All our trips are all included; we will pick you up at the reception of Any resort. These are the most productive, finest, and fastest boats on Puerto Plata.

Private tournaments take place when your party, charters two or more boats. With 7 boats available, imagine all the fun you can add to your vacations. For charters, we have two different locations (Luperon and Puerto Plata), Puerto Plata is very good and Luperon even better. Ocean World Marina Puerto Plata hosts great mahi mahi and billfish tournaments every year.

Puerto Plata is an excellent sportfishing destination where fishing fans and captains have been taking out big ones for decades.  With the harbor just minutes away of town’s tourist resorts, this is an excellent getaway for your vacations.

Everything is up as planned, the only thing missing is the Captain from Luperon which is not indispensable, but I still will do everything on my hand to put him on the boat.
